I don't know what type of music you are into, but I have an Electric Guest pandora station and it's all electronic poppy music, and it gets me going when I need to do long term projects and art! :) (Like Two Door Cinema Club, Neon Indian…)
Omg I dont know them, I would love to try!, I do like electronic music and stuff , I have a wide taste, thank youuu <3333
Hi, first of all, i think you're an amazing artist! I always love your paintings, and I like the facts that you post lyrics with with it. and I wanted to ask you about that, what comes first, the idea for the drawing while listening to some song or do you sketch something and then it remembers you of some lyrics? i dont know if you already answered this, but i am a bit curious :) have a nice day fernanda!
Hello! , omg Thank you ;___;
and I´m glad to hear!, for me painting can not happen without music ,because I´m addicted to it, and it can go both ways, but usually its the music first, I´m listening to some song and I get an idea to do with it.
One of my favorite things to do, is relax, listen to music and imagine visuals with it, make in my head my own movies for it, videos, pictures etc
You know why I love your work so much? Because you are that good. You don't have to show your body ( taking photos of you painting wearing panties or something ) to people like you or tell you how beautiful you are, you are just that good, please continue like that. Sorry if that offended you in any way, that wasn't my intention.
Gaww omg, no ofcourse it doesn´t offend me, Thank you very much ;;_______;; , I get what you mean, and I appreciatte it super much thank you !
What advise can you give to a person studying anatomy?
I think for anatomy the more you do the better, but! also its always more important quality than quantity, it doesn´t matter if you can´t do 100 sketches to practice, but make sure that the whatever number you do counts and that you really learn from them, also in genereal never stop drawing , learning is a never ending process, I think.
Try to draw from life or photos, you can also try to do it from imagination, and then go back and check references if you need etc.
You can also check some anatomy books, I love the ones by Andrew Loomis and Burne Hogarth.
And as a basic tip, don´t get too overwhelmed with it, if you take it to the basics, its just basic shapes and proportion relationships, after keep drawing the human body over and over your eyes will start to get used to all that and it will be easier.
Heya, I love your badass women, Fernanda! It's SKTAF from DA. I know you do a lot of traditional sketches. Any particular pencils you use? Just one mechanical or a range from Hs and Bs? Also, do you do any other traditional work? acrylics or oils or inks?
I use mechanical 0.5mm , and for dark lines and shadow a soft chalk pencil number 2, just that and a normal eraser (:
